How each of the 19 operations you can add to a pipeline works, what its options do, and real input and output examples.
Spaces & line breaks
01Trim leading and trailing spacesRemoves spaces and tabs at the very start and end of each line.02Collapse repeated spaces and tabsShrinks runs of spaces and tabs down to a single space.03Remove blank linesDeletes empty and whitespace-only lines, or squeezes consecutive blank lines into one.04Remove line breaks (join into one line)Joins all lines into one. You can choose the separator placed between them.05Add line breaks (split)Splits lines at a delimiter, at sentence ends or at a fixed character width.06Repair PDF line breaksRejoins hard line breaks inside paragraphs to restore the original paragraphs.
Lines
07Remove duplicate linesWhen the same line appears more than once, keeps only the first occurrence.08SortSorts lines alphabetically, by number, by length, in reverse or at random.09Filter linesKeeps only the lines containing certain text, or deletes only those lines.10Number linesAdds numbers such as 1. 2. 3. in front of each line. Find & convert
13Find and replaceReplaces text found by plain search or regex with something else.14Full-width ↔ half-widthConverts full-width letters, digits and symbols such as ＡＢＣ１２３ to half-width, or the other way around.15Change caseConverts letters that have case, such as English, to uppercase, lowercase, sentence case or capitalized words.16Clean invisible characters and quotesCleans up invisible differences such as NBSP, zero-width characters, BOM, curly quotes and decomposed Korean characters.
Remove characters
17Strip HTML tagsRemoves HTML tags and restores paragraph and line break structure and entities like & as text.18Remove emojiRemoves emoji such as 😀 👍🏽 👨👩👧 🇰🇷 including their full sequences.19Remove special charactersKeeps only letters, digits and whitespace in any language and removes symbols. You can choose extra characters to keep.
